(Feather Antonio), an early Franciscan missionary to Texas, was born at Valencia Aug. 18, 1657, and died in Mexico Aug. 6,1726. He was the author of El Peregrino Septentrional Atlante (Valencia, 1742). He is styled "Notario Apostolico," "Commissario del Santo Oficio," "Fundador y ex Guardian de tres Coligios," and "Prefecto de has Missiones de Piropagande Fide en todas has Indias Occidentales."
