Loanz, Elias Ben-Moses (surnamed Baal Shem)
who died at Worms in 1636, rabbi, is the author of a cabalistic commentary on the Song of Solomon, entitled רנת דודי (Basle, 1599), and on Koheleth or Ecclesiastes, entitled מכלול יפי .
