a French Protestant writer, was born at Evreux in 1590, and was made pastor at Rouen in 1615. He died there in 1674. Besides a dissertation in defense of Charles I of England, he wrote Les joyes inenarrables et glorieuses de l'ame fidele, representees en quinze Sermons sur le huitieme chap. de l'Epitre de Saint Paul aux Romains (Saumur, 1669, 8vo); and Sermons sur divers textes de l'ecriture. — Hoefer, Nouv.
