a Dutch theologian and philologian, was born near Maestricht about 1678, and was educated at Louvain, where he afterwards became a professor. He died March 16,1738. His theological works of note are, Systenma Apocalypticum (Louvain, 1708, 12mo):-Prodromus Danielicus, sive novi conatus historici critici in celeberrimas dificultates historic Vet. Test. monarchiarum Asice, etc., ac prcecipue Daniel. prophet.
