a Welsh Baptist minister, was born at Bodedeyrn, Anglesea, July 10, 1831. At the age of seventeen he was baptized, soon after began topreach, in 1857 graduated from the college at Haverfordwest, became pastor at Llandudno, in 1859 at Llangollen, in 1862 assistant at the new college there, in 1866 its president, and died there, May 28, 1883.
