a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church South, was born in Madison County, Tenn., October 19, 1832. He joined the Church at thirteen years of age, was admitted to the St. Louis Conference in 1852, and appointed to Carthage Circuit. He then removed first to Mount Vernon Circuit, next to Osceola Circuit, then to Fredericktown, and finally to Ozark Circuit. He died in the midst of the work in the fall of 1857. Min. Ann. Conf.
