A Benedictine monk, born at Holleshow, in Bohemia, in 1366, was educated at Paris. He was one of the most violent opponents of Huss, and contributed more than any other person to his execution. This explains why the Hussites afterwards (1420) destroyed the monastery to which Holleshow belonged. He died in 1436. A list of his works is given in Adelung's Jocher, Gelehrt. Lex. 2, 2098. (J.
