a Roman Catholic divine of Germany, was born in 1803. In 1827 he took holy orders, was pastor at Siegburg in 1828, took the degree as doctor of theology at Munster in 1834, commenced his academical career at Bonn in 1835, and died February 7, 1874. He published, Ueber das Verhaltniss zwischen Leib und Seele ion Menschen (Bonn, 1834): Symbolische Theologie (1841): Kritische Darstellung der Haresien, etc. (1837): Homilien (published after his death, 1874).
