a Roman Catholic theologian of Germany, was born in 1801 at Frankenstein, Silesia. In 1826 he took holy orders, and died April 17, 1867. He published, Kanzelvortrage (Glogau, 1855, 2 vols.): — Der katholische Seelsorger nach seinen Amtsverpflichtungen und Amtsverrichtungen (Breslau, 1839, 3 volumes): — Die Verwaltung des heiligen Busssakraments (Paderborn, 1859).
