a Premonstratensian, was born in 1804 in Bohemia, received holy orders in 1830, was in 1838 professor of exegesis at Prague, and died March 17, 1867. He wrote, Hermeneutica Biblica Generalis Juxta Principia Catholica (Prague, 1848; 2d ed. 1851; 3d ed. 1863): — Introductio in Sacros A Novi Testamenti Libros Histor.
