a Danish statesman, historian, and theologian, was born September 1, 1731, and died February 8, 1808. He is known as the author of a Chronology for the Books of the New Testament (Copenhagen, 1785), and of A Translation of the New Testament, with Annotations (1794, 2 volumes), both published in the Danish language.
