a Protestant theologian, was born in 1747 at Bernau, in Brandenburg, and died there, June 24, 1809 provost and first preacher. He published, Der Katechismus Luthers Erklart (Berlin, 1791): — Predigten uber freie Texte (ibid. 1793): — Gesprache uber biblische Erza'hlungen. und Gleichnisse (ihid. 1795, 1798).
