Frohberger, Christian Gottlieb
a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born July 27, 1742, at Wehlen, near Pirna, in Saxony. He studied at Halle and. Leipsic, and was in 1774 preacher at Rennersdorf, near Herrnhut. In 1820 he retired from the ministry, and died January 29, 1827. He published some ascetical works, for which see Doring, Die gelehrten Theologen Deutschlands, 1:461 sq.; Winer, Handbuch der theol.
