an Italian Dominican of the 16th century. Being of Jewish origin, he was also called Hebraeus or, Hebraeinus. He was vicargeneral and procurator of his order, in 1594 received the episcopal see at Forli, but resigned his office in 1597, and retired to Rome, where he died about 1600. He wrote a commentary on Genesis and on Exodus 1-20, which is still in manuscript in the Vatican library.
