a French prelate, was born in Paris in 1662. After he had been canonist successively of Chartres, abbot of Moreilles, and treasurer of St. Chapelle, he was appointed, in 1698, bishop of Aire, and transferred in 1706 to the episcopal see of Orleans. On his entry into the city he delivered eight hundred and fifty-four debtors from the prison. He died January 11, 1733, leaving, Ordonnances Reglements et Avis Synodaux (Orleans, 1736): — Histoire de l'Entree de Louis Gaston Fleuriau d'Annenonville (Paris, 1707): Discours Academique (Orleans, eod.).
