a Roman Catholic theologian, was born at Aix-la-Chapelle, August 24, 1643. In 1662 he joined the Jesuits; was for some time professor of theology at Cologne, and died there, February 13, 1706. He wrote, Apologia pro Conscientiis Infirmiis (Cologne, 1682): — De Radiae Damnatorum Propositiotnum aub Alexandro VII et Innocentio I1r (ibid. 1682): — Tia Veritatis et Vitae contra Atheos, Paganos, Judcios, etc. (ibid.. 1696): — Demonstratio Tripartita Dei adversus Atheos, Gentiles, etc. (ibid. 1702).
