a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born May 5, 1675. He studied at Leipsic and Wittenberg, was in 1698 pastor at Embskirchen, in Bavaria, in 1701 archdeacon at Reichenbach, and in 1707 court-preacher at Dresden.
