a Lutheran theologian, was born October 19, 1632, at Parchim, in Mecklenburg, studied at Leipsic and Wittenberg, and accepted a call in 1660 to Hamburg, where he died May 21, 1704. He is the author of Geistliche Lieder (Hamburg, 1681): — Geistreiche Lieder (ibid. 1700).
