who flourished in the 11th century, is the author of an ascetic work entitled, ארחות חיי, also called צואת ר 8 אליעזר הגדול , The Testament of Rabbi Eliezer the Great. It was edited by Chajim Cesarini, Constantinople, 1519, and often since. In a Judaeo-German translation it was published at Amsterdam in 1649. See Furst, Bibl. Jud. 1:233. (B.P.)
