who died in 1729, is the author of שבט מוסר, or Ethics, in fifty-two chapters (Constantinople, 1692): — מדרש אליהו, a Commentary on Midrash Rabba (ibid. 1693): — אליהו על אסתר מדרש, a Commentary and Homilies on Esther (Smyrna, 1759).
