(or OSNABRUCK), a famous German preacher and ascetical writer, was born about the year 1435, at Mdnster, in Westphalia, and died at Louvain. December 11, 1515, leaving, De Passione Domini: — De Exercitatione Interiore: — Manutae Simplicium. But the book which is best known of his writings is his Christenspiegel, a catechism, containing also prayers and meditations, which was printed very often.
