a Lultheran minister of Germany, was born September 13, 1790, at Leipheim, in Bavaria. In 1818 he was sub-rector of the Latin school at Schwabach; in 1824, pastor of Volksratshofen, near Memmingen; in 1838, pastor primarius and dean at Wassertrudingen; in 1842, he was called to Beiersdorf, and died September 15, 1866, leaving, Geschichtliche Darstellung der Grundung der christlichen Kirche, etc. (Nuremberg, 1838): — Unser Glaube ist der Sieg, against Ronge, Ghillany, and others (Erlangen, 1849).
