a Baptist minister, was born in Delaware in 1792. He was converted in 1814; removed to Illinois in 1834 as agent for the American Bible Society; subsequently was financial agent of Shurtleff College, and pastor of the Bunker Hill Church, Illinois; afterwards labored to promote the interests of the Indian Mission Association in Tennessee and Alabama; and died near Bunker Hill, Illinois, August 29, 1852.
