an English Baptist minister, was born at Whitchurch, Hampshire, October 21, 1773. After his conversion he joined the Independent Church at Reading, and in 1802 the Baptist Church there; soon after became pastor in Oakingham; in 1808 removed to his native town, where he labored until his death, September 7, 1840.
