a Congregational minister, was born in Wales in 1824. He was a student at Bala College, Merionethshire; was ordained pastor at Conway, December 19, 1849; subsequently served at Henryd, where he remained until 1859; then was installed pastor at Amwythiz, and in 1864 at Ruthya. From 1868- to 1879 he was engaged in farming, and in the latter year arrived in America. From January 1880, he was acting pastor in Mineral Ridge, Ohio, until his death, February 9, 1881. See Cong.
