a Welsh Baptist minister, was born at Culycwm, Carmarthenshire, in 1813. He began to preach in 1836, entered Pontypool College in 1841; in 1844 was ordained pastor of the Old Church at Waintrodau, Bedwas, where he ministered with great acceptance and success for twenty years. His next pastorate was with the Charles Street Church, Newport, Monmouthshire; and his last with the Church in Bedwas, where he died, January 11, 1872. See (Lond.) Baptist Hand-book, 1873, page 256.
