Dassov, Theodor
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
a German theologian, brother of Nicolausy, was born at Hamburg. He studied at Giessen and Wittenberg; was in 1678 professor extraordinarius of Oriental languages, and in 1689 professor ordinarius at the latter place, where he-also took his degree as doctor of theology, in 1699. He accepted a call to Kiel, and died January 6, 1721, while general superintendent of Holstein and provost of Rendsburg. He wrote: Avis Ungte Sect. Inque Sacrific. Oblat.
