a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church South, was born at Vienna, Maryland, September 21, 1831. He removed with his parents to Texas in 1837; was licensed to preach in 1852; admitted into the Texas Conference on trial the same year; located in 1867; re-entered the conference in 1869, continuing in the itinerant ranks until 1880; and died January 14, 1882.
