a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born at Middletown, Connecticut, March 19, 1791. He was left an orphan at the age of ten; converted at eighteen; and in 1816 entered the Philadelphia Conference, wherein he continued with acceptance and usefulness until his death, April 25, 1827.
