Contant (or Constant de La Mollette), Philippe Du
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
a French theologian, was born at Saint-Andre, Dauphine, August 29, 1737. He completed his studies at the Sorboatnne, and received the degree of doctor in 1765, preparing a thesis in six languages upon the Holy Scripture, which was published at Paris the same year. He was afterwards vicar-general of Vienne. He was beheaded in 1793.
