a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born in Virginia, February 22, 1786. He embraced religion in his thirteenth year, and in 1807 was admitted into the South Carolina Conference. In 1816 he located, on account of ill- health; re-entered the effective ranks in 1827, and died at his post, September 4, 1834. Mr. Collinsworth was laborious and useful.
