an English Wesleyan minister, was born in Glasgow, Scotland, where he was converted at: the age of fifteen, and was educated at the university there. He was received by the conference in 1834, and sent to Hexham, next to Aberdeen, and finally to Wigton. In 1840 bodily affliction compelled him to give up the active work. He died April 9, 1842.
