an English Congregational minister, was born in Coventry, Dec. 22, 1801. He joined the Church in youth, prepared for the ministry at Hackney Academy, and began his vocation at Godalming, Surrey. In 1837, at the instance of the Colonial Missionary Society, he settled in Ontario, Canada, where he held successive pastorates at London, Simcoe, and Dresden, and died in 1878. -See (Lond.) Cong.
