(in Italian, Gentile), Moses, a Jewish writer of Italy, was born at Trieste about 1663, and died at Venice in 1711. He is the author of מְלֶאכֶת מִחֲשֶׁבֶת, A' Philosophical Commentary on the Pentateuch (Venice, 17i0) : חֲנֻכִּת הִבִּיַת, or A Description and Explanation of the Second Temple (ibid. 1696).
