an English Wesleyan minister, was born near Mold, Flintshire, June 15, 1784. He was converted at Denbigh, whither his parents had removed a few years after his birth. In 1805 he began to preach in Welsh, but was afterwards connected with the English work. In 1855 he was made a supernumerary, and died Sept. 8 of that year.
