an Italian painter and architect, the second son of Galeazzo, and scholar of Giulio, was born at Cremona before 1536, and lived till after 1591. His best oil-paintings are St. Paul Resuscitating Eutychus, and The Nativity, in San Paolo, at Milan. As an architect he erected several edifices which. are.. deserving of praise. See Hoefer, Nouv.
