a Presbyterian minister, was born in Ireland in 1817, but removed with his parents to America. He graduated at Jefferson College, Cannonsburg, Pa., in 1846, and from the theological seminary at Allegheny City in 1850. He was licensed by the Allegheny Presbytery in 1847, and for three years he served the churches of Buffalo and Uniona, Pa In 1857 he removed to Illinois, and became the pastor of Prospect Church, Peoria Presbytery, where he remained until his death, June 25,1863.
