a native Cherokee minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church South, was converted in early life, and spoke only Cherokee; but in it was well educated. As far back as 1855 his name is in the Indian Mission Conference minutes, from which date to his death in 1873, he labored faithfully among his people, highly esteemed by all and doing much good.
