a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born April 25, 1685, at Zerbst. He studied at different universities, was in 1710 preacher at Lepta, in the principality of Zerbst, in 1719 deacon, in 1724 pastor at his native place, and died Dec. 18,1742.
