Bucher, Samuel Friedrich
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born September 16, 1692, at Rengersdorf, in Lusatia. He studied at Wittenberg, and was appointed professor of antiquities there. In 1726 he was made rector of the public school, but in 1728 he accepted an appointment at Zittau, where he died, May 12, 1765.
