a Belgian bishop, was born at Tournay. He was first instructor in a school, then canon of St. Qusentin and dean of Notre Dame. and finally bishop in 1262. He was exceedingly jealous, of his episcopal prerogatives, yet nevertheless bore the reputation of being virtuous and a great lover of the arts. He died at Tournay in 1266. See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog.
