a Roman Catholic theologian of Germany, was born May 7,1758, at Philippsburg; and died November 2, 1829, as doctor of theology at Carlsruhe. He published, Predigten und kurzere Reden (Carlsruhe, 1816, 2 parts): — Gebete und Betrachtungen uber die vom Wahrheiten und Pflichten (14th ed.
