an English Congregational minister, was born at Taunton in 1792. He was converted when about twenty years old, at Bristol, whither he had removed and become engaged in a banking establishment. Mr. Brown's first and only charge was at Ashton, near Bristol, where he was ordained January 28, 1827, and died June 16,1862. He was eminent for his piety, charity, and soundness in faith.
