a French theologian, was born in Touraine, December 31, 1660. He became a Jesuit, and for thirty-four years devoted himself to preaching. He died at Paris, May 29, 1741. He wrote, Reflexions Chretiennes pour les jeunes' Gens qui entrent dans le Monde (Paris, 1708): — Sermons, Pandegy iques et Discours sui les Mystres (ibid. 1743, published by P. Berruyer).
