Bottcher, Julius Friedrich
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
a Protestant theologian of Germany, was born Oct. 25, 1801, at Dresden, and died in 1863. He published, Hebriische Paradignien (Dresden, 1825): — Hebraisches Uebungsbuch fur Schulen (ibid. 1826): — Proben alttestamentlicher Schrifterkldrung nach wissenschaftlicher Sprachfobschung, etc. (Leipsic, 1833): — De Inferis Rebusque Post Miortem Futuris ex flebreorum, et Grcecoinum Opinionibus libri ii (Dresden; 1846): — Exegqetisch-kritische Aehrenlese zum alien Testament (ibid. eod.): — Nue exegetisch-kritische Aehrenlese zumn alten Testament (Leipsic, 1863, 1864, 1865, 3 vols.; the third vol. was edited, with indices, by F.
