a Flemish theologian of the Jesuit order, was born at Brussels in 1563, and died at Valladolid, in Spain, March 9, 1610. His principal work is, Mare non Liberum, sive Demonstratio .Juris Lusitanici ad Oceainu-m et Coinmercium Indicun. This unpublished work is directed against the Mare Liberum of Grotius.
