a learned Puritan writer, was born at Little Hempston, in Devonshire, in 1625. He was educated at St. Alban's Hall and at Corpus-Christi College, Oxford, of which he became a fellow. He died from the effects of too close mental application, Sept. 1, 1659. He wrote, Additions to Rous's Archeologice Atticsc (5th ed.
