Blake, William (4),

a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born in Prince Edward County, Va., Feb. 9,. 1819. He removed to Ohio in 1834, to Indiana in. 1840, and was a student at Asbury University, Indiana, from 1846 to 1848; was received into the North Indiana Conference in 1850; became superannuated at Greencastle in 1867; was made effective in 1871, and was transferred to Northwest Indiana Conference in 1876; took a supernumerary relation in 1878, and died at Greencastle, Ind., May 3, 1880.
