a minister of the Reformed (Dutch) Church, was born about 1680. He was ordained by the Classis of Amsterdam, Holland, May 4, 1705, and came to America in the same year. He served the Church at Kingston, Ulster Co., N. Y., from 1705 to 1708, when he returned to Holland. He came back to America in 1710 and took orders in the Episcopal Church, and became pastor of Harlem and Fordham Episcopal churches in 1710. He was suspended by the Classis of Amsterdam in 1712, because he had joined the Episcopal Church without making any complaints or giving any reasons for the step which he had taken. Thereupon he went again to Holland in 1713, and was restored to the ministry of the Reformed (Dutch) Church, and became pastor of the Church at Curagoa from 1714 to 1717.
