a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church South, was converted in early life, and began preaching in Kentucky before he was twenty. Subsequently he went to Illinois, and joined the Illinois Conference. In 1870 he entered the Western St. Louis Conference, and in it spent the remainder of his life. He died of an accidental injury in the latter part of 1871. Mr. Berryman as a man was social and kind; as a Christian, consistent and pious; as a preacher, clear and forcible.
